Spiced Blueberry Mint Smoothie

Servings 1 smoothie

Equipment

  • Vitamix, or any high speed blender

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana, preferably frozen
  • 140 grams frozen blueberries (about 1 cup)
  • ¾ cup water or plant milk
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 inch chunk of ginger, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • teaspoon sea salt
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 7 grams fresh mint leaves, stems removed (about ½ cup)
  • 1 serving vanilla protein powder optional

Instructions

  • Place all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor.
  • Pulse until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides or add a dash more water as needed.
  • Serve and enjoy straight away.
