Spiced Blueberry Mint Smoothie
Equipment
- Vitamix, or any high speed blender
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana, preferably frozen
- 140 grams frozen blueberries (about 1 cup)
- ¾ cup water or plant milk
- ½ teaspoon almond extract
- 1 inch chunk of ginger, peeled
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- ⅛ teaspoon sea salt
- pinch of cinnamon
- 7 grams fresh mint leaves, stems removed (about ½ cup)
- 1 serving vanilla protein powder optional
Instructions
- Place all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor.
- Pulse until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides or add a dash more water as needed.
- Serve and enjoy straight away.
