My sweet tooth is at it again. I personally cannot imagine a world without coffee or ice cream. Some might say this recipe was created with a hint of greed – I wanted both, all in one glass, first thing in the morning. Luckily it’s protein rich, caffeine heavy, and as creamy as a Cookout milkshake (but hold the dairy). The caramel notes come from the simple combination of medjool dates, sea salt (don’t you dare leave that salt out), and cashews. What a beautiful way to start the day. Cheers.

Salted Caramel Cold Brew Shake
For days when you want coffee and a smoothie, choose no more.
Ingredients
- 200 milliliters cold brew coffee (about 1 cup)
- 2 pitted medjool dates soaked in water to soften, as necessary
- 1½ frozen bananas
- ¼ tsp himalayan salt
- ¼ cup raw cashews
- 1 serving vanilla protein powder
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a blender. Blend on high until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
- Pour into a serving glass, topping with extra cold brew coffee as desired. Enjoy straight away.
